What is the best borough to live in, in NYC if you're artsy/alternative?
Two other friends and myself are moving to New York City next fall, and my best friend is in theatre, my other friend is an artist, and I'm an artist/ cosmetologist. What is the best AND least expensive place to call home in NYC? I think 1500 or 1600 is probably max rent.
