How can I make my room look more like teenage but artistic and creative?

I suggest painting your walls an off white and maybe having one wall like a nice shade of pink (not hot pink - you'll get sick of it trust me)/purple/blue or which ever colour you prefer. Then you can add accents like curtains, pillows with your chosen colour and it will look very simple but not boring if you get what I mean? Since your artistic you could hang some of your artwork on the walls or get those pretty wall stickers and stick them around!
