How to meet artsy people?

I am 21 and looking for places to meet intellectual and artsy people. I was thinking coffee shops, bookstores, indie concerts or record stores....where else could I meet these type of people. I am really into music and movies and literature...I just really connect with those people....how and where can I meet people like this?
