Decorating my new apartment, need some ideas on stuff to get!?

I'm moving in a new 1 bedroom apartment tomorrow, am a pretty artsy guy, my gf is going to help decorate but i want to hear some random decorating ideas(feel free to post links of stuff u think would fit great in a 1 bedroom apt). So far i mean we have sum furniture, and nothing for the walls yet.
